frequently asked questions

Please see below for our guidelines and suggestions to make your dress shopping experience the best it can possibly be!

how do i schedule an appointment?

Please use the link below to request an appointment. We will respond within 3 business days about scheduling. We will do everything in our power to accommodate the day/time you would like to come in!

how long is an appointment?

We typically plan for 90 minutes for a first bridal appointment. This usually gives you enough time to feel like you got to see all of the options, without starting to get overwhelmed or burnt out! However, there is no set time limit on appointments (within reason!), so if you need more than 90 minutes, we are happy to accommodate.

We also offer shorter appointments if you are returning to try on a couple of top contenders, pick out a veil/accessories, or are shopping by yourself, etc. You can select the length of appointment when filling out the form at the link above.

how many people can i bring to my appointment?

We HIGHLY recommend only bringing 1 to 2 loved ones to your first appointment. Having too many conflicting opinions can be extremely confusing and stressful, especially if you are still uncertain what you are looking for. Bringing just one or two people who will respect your opinion and ideally know your style / have a similar sense of style is ideal.

With that being said, we know that trying on wedding dresses is often a big social event, and it can be hard to limit your guests when everyone wants to be part of the fun! Therefore, we can accommodate up to 8 additional guests at your appointment. (Larger groups can potentially be accommodated; we will evaluate those requests on a case-by-case basis.)

are children allowed at my appointment?

We kindly ask that all guests be age 12 or older. Exceptions may be made under extraordinary circumstances, and we will evaluate those requests on a case-by-case basis.

can i bring in my beverage?

We kindly ask that you do not bring food or any beverage other than water into the store.

am i allowed to pick out dresses myself?

Absolutely! You are welcome to browse all of the dresses in our store yourself! We only ask that you allow your consultant to actually remove the dress from the rack and carry it to your fitting room, as some of our dresses are constructed of very delicate fabrics.

We also encourage you to have your consultant help pull options for you based on your description of what you're looking for, or based on photos, Pinterest boards, etc. Having a consultant select a few dresses to start with can be extremely helpful if you are uncertain of what fit/style you are looking for, or if you find shopping overwhelming.

can i find out if a particular dress/size/style is in the store before i schedule an appointment?

Yes! Every gown that we have available is listed on our website, including size. If you have specific questions we can help answer for you prior to making an appointment, please give us a call or contact us via email!

can i find out how much a particular dress costs before i schedule an appointment?

Yes! We do not list prices on our website; however, we are happy to provide a price* over the phone or via email.

*Please note that any pricing shared does not reflect charges such as sales tax, shipping, customization, or alterations.

is there an appointment fee?

No, currently we do not charge a fee to make an appointment.

what happens if i need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

We understand that life happens and we do not charge a cancellation fee if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We kindly ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you have to cancel your appointment.

what should i know about bridal sizing?

Bridal sizing typically runs smaller than street sizing. For instance, a bridal gown marked Size 14 will probably fit more like a street size 10 or 12. Keep this in mind as you are browsing our dress selection!

other appointment guidelines

We kindly ask that you show respect to our space, our staff, and the beautiful gowns in our store. Mistreating other humans or damaging anything within the store will not be tolerated. Any guest incapacitated or unruly due to consumption of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave.

All guests must abide by the guidelines listed above. Guests who are unable to adhere to these guidelines will be asked to leave, and may be refused entry in the future.
